Notion doesn't have a native one-click PDF export button, but it does let you save any page as a PDF through the print dialog — and it works surprisingly well for most document types. Here's how to do it on desktop and mobile, and what to expect from the output.

How to Save a Notion Page as PDF on Desktop
Open the Notion page you want to export. Click the three-dot menu (⋯) in the top-right corner of the page. Select Export from the dropdown menu. In the export dialog, choose PDF as the export format, then click Export.
Notion will generate the PDF and prompt you to save it. The exported file includes all visible text, images, and basic formatting. Tables, toggle lists, and callout blocks are also exported, though complex layouts may look slightly different from how they appear in the app.
Note: PDF export is available on all Notion plans, but exporting subpages (an entire nested page tree) requires a paid plan.

How to Export a Notion Page as PDF Using Print
An alternative method works in any browser: open the Notion page in your web browser (not the desktop app), then press Ctrl + P on Windows or Cmd + P on Mac to open the print dialog. Set the destination to Save as PDF and click Save.
This method gives you a bit more control — you can set paper size, margins, and decide whether to include background colors. If your Notion page has a colored background or cover image, enabling "Background graphics" in the print settings will include those in the PDF.
How to Save a Notion Page as PDF on Mobile
The Notion mobile app (iOS and Android) also supports PDF export. Open the page, tap the three-dot menu in the top-right corner, scroll down to find Export, and select PDF. The file will download to your device's default download location.
Mobile exports tend to be less polished than desktop exports for complex pages. If your page has wide tables or multi-column layouts, the desktop export generally handles them better.
Exporting a Full Notion Database as PDF
Notion databases (tables, boards, calendars) don't export cleanly to PDF from the database view. The PDF export captures the current page view, which for a database means only what's visible on screen — not all entries.
If you need a PDF of database content, the most reliable approach is to open a specific database page, export it as PDF, then repeat for other entries. For bulk exports of a database, exporting as CSV or Markdown is more practical than PDF.
Formatting Tips for Better Notion PDF Exports
A few formatting choices in Notion affect how well the PDF turns out. Avoid very wide tables — they often overflow the page margins in the export. Use dividers between sections to create visual separation that prints cleanly. Toggle blocks (collapsible sections) will export in their current state, so expand anything you want visible before exporting.
If the exported PDF has layout issues — text cut off, images misaligned, or pages breaking at awkward points — try the print-to-PDF method in a browser instead of the in-app export. Browser rendering often produces cleaner results for content-heavy pages.
After Exporting: Editing or Compressing the PDF
Notion PDF exports can be fairly large if the page contains images or embedded content. If you need to share the file by email or upload it somewhere with a size limit, run it through a PDF Compression tool to reduce the file size without noticeably affecting quality.
If you want to combine the exported Notion page with other documents — say, adding a cover page or appending supporting materials — WukongPDF's merge tool handles that in a few clicks. Upload all the PDFs, arrange the order, and download the combined file.
